      • I don’t see how it matters, either way. So, the rest of the world wants Obama to be president. Unless you hate the rest of the world, why should that be an indication to dislike Obama and prefer Romney?

        • The rest of the world appears to want a weaker US. I do not. I believe in national sovereignty, and I believe in maintaining our status and strength. Why would i not, and why would I vote in a way I believe would diminish that?

        • Why should you care what the rest of the world thinks of us? Also, if their opinion of us is higher (as it would seem to go down if the person they didn’t want became president), wouldn’t that make us stronger in their views? Why should I care about the status or strength of our country, beyond our ability to defend ourselves, which hasn’t gone down?

        • Why would you not? Frankly, I don’t care if the world likes us or not, but I do that that they respect us. We were not liked when Ronald Reagan was president, but we were respected. Same with George W. Bush, and this is because they did not allow themselves to be pushed around by other world leaders. A leader who is weak & easily manipulated may be more “likable” to the rest of the world, but he puts us at great peril with his inability (or disinterest) in ensuring that our national sovereignty, our citizens, and our national interests are safe.
